PARKING
There is convenient parking in the lot in front of the studio.

ABSENCES
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee spaces for make-up classes.  Our class sizes are small, and we do not want to overcrowd our space.  We always do our best to work with your schedule and ours to find an available, appropriate class session for your missed class time. If you think you may miss your regular class time, please email and let us know.
In addition, if your teacher needs to miss your scheduled class session, due to illness, you will receive notification through email as soon as possible.

FULL CLASSES
If the class you would like to register your child/children for is currently full, please email us and we will add your child’s name to the waiting list.  As soon as a spot in the desired class becomes available, we pull from the list on a first come basis and let you know. 

If there is another day/time slot that would work for your family, but is not currently an option, please let us know this as well.  We will be adding class sessions as need.

CLOTHING
Our classes can be messy! One of our main goals when creating this studio space was to give children, and their caregivers, a space to freely explore and create without hesitation.  Because of this freedom, children are encouraged to explore these art experiences in multiple ways.  This independence may lead them to exploring the art through all of their senses, with touch being a main avenue!  We provide smocks if so desired. Please dress yourself and your child accordingly.

SICK POLICY
Wee Create Studio is a space created to share artistic expression, not germs! If you or your child is feeling under the weather, please keep everyone home.  We do our best to fit them into an appropriate make-up session if preferred.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the case of bad weather, Wee Create Studio will notify you via email regarding class cancelations.  Generally, we follow the Shawnee Mission School District school cancellations. However, there may be some exceptions.  Please check your emails before leaving for class.We love art and getting messy, but most of all we want all of our little artists and their families to stay safe.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
At this time, Wee Create Studio roughly follows the Shawnee Mission School District school calendar.  Our classes begin in the fall, and run weekly through the end of the school year.
There are no class sessions on school breaks or holidays when the school district is not in session.

PHOTOGRAPHS
Wee Create Studio is very excited about what is taking place within our space! We want to share this joy! We occasionally take photographs of children working on projects and having fun in class.  These pictures may be used on our social media accounts.  We are as discrete as possible.  Please notify us if you are not comfortable with this.
