This class is our toddler playgroup, and is a perfect introduction to art and art exploration! In this class, the littlest artists are given the opportunity to play and explore with a variety of art materials. This fall session will focus on the theme “Our Town”. Through art activities, sensory explorations and simple play, we will explore all things little ones love about our city: vehicles, neighborhoods, animals and nature. The curriculum is developmentally based and provides these tiny art learners a chance to engage freely in the process of making art.
Children must attend each class session with an actively participating adult. Please dress appropriately; we will get messy! This 40 minute class meets for 8 weeks, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Please choose the preferred day when registering. A minimum of 5 students needed for session to meet.
$135/child for the 8 weeks, paid in full at time of registration; 10% off for sibling registration.
Is your artist child ready to explore more independently? Then this class is the one for them! In this class, children have the opportunity to create using picture books and a teacher prepared example for inspiration, while having the opportunity to explore their own inspired ideas through the process of creating.
This class gives your preschooler a chance to build up their art skills with drawing, coloring, cutting and painting. Naturally, a theme and finished product may be more prevalent in this age group. However, individuality and artistic exploration is always emphasized.
During this 8 week session, these Kiddie Kahlos will work with all things Fibers!! We will explore arts using a variety of fiber materials and techniques including cloth, yarn, dying, and simple weaving. These artists will participate in making both 2D and 3D art works.
For this class, there is an option for drop-off. If you feel your preschooler is ready, and bathroom independent, than you may choose to leave your child for the 45 min class. However, if you and your child are most comfortable staying together, you are welcome to stay and participate! As always, we plan to get messy, so dress you child appropriately!
This 45 minute class meets weekly, for 8 weeks. There are two day and time options, so please choose accordingly when registering. A minimum of 5 students is needed for each session to run.
$145/child for the 8 weeks, paid in full at time of registration; 10% off for sibling registration

Does your child love art and being creative? Are you looking for a fun, relaxed after-school activity? Our Learning Leonardos class is perfect for your elementary art explorer. In this art class for children, students develop their art skills, meet new friends, and have fun experimenting with a variety of artistic mediums.
Throughout this 8 week Fall session, these school-aged artists will explore and create masterpieces using the art works of contemporary artists for inspiration. Each week this group will look at the works of artists making “art now” and create their own versions of these examples. Ms Brittany, our instructor for this class, will help these leos explore these ideas and techniques, using age and developmentally appropriate terms.
These artists are encouraged to work with paint, collage, clay, and recycled materials. The Learning Leonardos also work in 2-D and 3-D styles, and produce some amazing finished products to demonstrate their skills.
This is a drop-off class. Please dress your artist accordingly! As always, plan to get messy! A minimum of 5 students required for the session to run.
***We hope to have a “field trip” to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art included in this session. It would be a one time docent lead tour with drop-off and pick-up for that week at the Kemper. This tour would require a certain number of students to participate. It is still in the organizing stage, so not final yet. No additional fees would apply.

Thursday afternoons from 4:00-5:00, Sept. 12th-Oct. 31st
